And my family is here...I am so happy without having had any successes yet...but it is worth pointing out that I already have had a couple of job interviews, and a chance at having my own income...not a bad feat when one considers that this is the first community that I can claim that...we will all remember this as the Depression in a few years hence....and it would be nice if I could find a job...

- I am happy. When I lost the house I did not know all the cool adventures that awaited me, but I am glad I went along with what happened, returning to school, going to Monterey Peninsula College and getting my AA, then moving to OR and getting into Oregon State University....moving back to CA to Santa Cruz...then going to Europe in 2012 for 3 months!! I loved Italy and the UK. I loved being away from home. I also love being back at home...off again!

July 22, 2010 Santa Cruz
So I live in Santa Cruz now and I have to admit that the challenges with living somewhere new are deeply softened by the familiarity of life here...I know the restaurants I like already, the streets and sub neighborhoods of the city here and the culture of this downtown and college zones...
